BikerGuard, the worlds first electric motorcycle helmet visor wiper, was showcased at Tehnopark Celje - the largest science and entertainment park in this part of Europe - alongside an electric SUP developed for BMW by SipaBoards.
The event, held on February 12, 2026, was presented by Ivo Boscarol, co-owner of both BikerGuard and SipaBoards, who serves as a mentor and strategic advisor to innovative start-up companies. Boscarol emphasized that successful Slovenian high-tech products deserve greater recognition at home, proposing that Tehnopark establish a permanent showcase of Slovenian innovations that have achieved global success.
A Product That Did Not Exist Before
The BikerGuard electric visor wiper was described as an innovation that simply did not exist before - a product born from Slovenian knowledge and manufactured entirely in Slovenia. Its practical value has been confirmed at the highest level: the London Metropolitan Police already uses the BikerGuard system in their daily operations, providing real-world validation of the products reliability and effectiveness.
Slovenian Innovation on the Global Stage
The presentation demonstrated that Slovenian expertise and entrepreneurial boldness can successfully compete on the global market. Both innovations showcased at the event serve as proof that Slovenia produces world-class technology - from electric mobility solutions to safety equipment that protects riders in all weather conditions.
The exhibited innovations will also be part of a larger showcase of Slovenian breakthrough solutions that Tehnopark plans to feature at the International Festival of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence in March 2026.
