Which motorcycle wiper do you need?
"Wiper for motorcycle" covers two different problems. If rain is on your helmet visor, you need a helmet wiper. If rain is on the windscreen of your scooter, maxi-scooter or touring bike, you need a windscreen wiper. BIKERGUARD makes both.
For the helmet: BIKERGUARD
The BIKERGUARD Kit is an electric wiper that clips onto the visor of almost any full-face or modular helmet. Brushless motor, waterproof, wireless handlebar remote, free anti-fog foil, 3-year warranty. It is the original helmet visor wiper and the one reviewed by Motorcycle News, RideApart and riders around the world. Read the full helmet wiper guide for how it mounts and what fits.
For the windscreen: Scooty
Scooty is a mini windscreen wiper for scooters and city bikes. It mounts on the screen without cutting into it, runs from its own battery and is built for urban commuting at speeds up to 50 km/h, where a wet screen at eye level is the biggest problem. Delivery riders, commuters and anyone with a windscreen on a 125 will know the feeling of peering around a smeared screen at a junction; Scooty clears it.
Which one for a scooter rider?
Many scooter riders end up with both: BIKERGUARD on the helmet for the open road and Scooty on the screen for town. If you only pick one, ask where the rain actually lands in your line of sight. Tall screen you look through: Scooty. Low screen you look over: BIKERGUARD.
Why not a spray, a glove wiper or a squeegee?
Sprays depend on airflow and stop working in town. Glove-mounted rubber blades mean taking a hand off the bars, which is the last thing you want on a wet roundabout. A powered wiper is the only option that keeps working at low speed with both hands on the controls, which is why cars, trains and aircraft all use one.

Helmet Wiper FAQ
Yes. BIKERGUARD sweeps rain off the visor with a soft blade driven by a brushless motor, the same principle as a car wiper. Water-repellent sprays stop working at low speed and in the mist behind vehicles; a wiper keeps working at any speed. Independent reviews from MCN, RideApart and many YouTube channels show it in real rain.
Most full-face and modular helmets with a standard curved visor. The wiper slides onto a small plastic linear guide that is fixed to the visor with two screws, and a second guide is included so you can move the unit between two helmets. A self-adhesive, no-drill mount is available for riders who prefer not to drill the visor.
Yes. The visor opens and closes normally. Most riders snap the wiper on when it starts raining and take it off again when the road dries; it takes a second either way.
Yes. The Pinlock pins are not in the way, and every kit includes a free anti-fog foil for the inside of the visor so you get a clear view on both sides.
With the wireless remote on the handlebar: one button, IPX6 waterproof, powered by a replaceable CR2032 cell. The wiper also has its own button, so it keeps working if the remote is lost or flat. Lost remotes can be replaced and paired in a few steps.
They are mostly the same thing: a wiper mounted on the helmet visor, which is what BIKERGUARD is. "Motorcycle wiper" is also used for windscreen wipers on scooters and touring bikes. For that we make Scooty, a mini wiper for scooter and city-bike windscreens at speeds up to 50 km/h.
Blades wear like car wiper blades and slide off in seconds; spare blades come in 2-packs from our shop. BIKERGUARD carries a 3-year warranty, and knock-off copies sold on marketplaces are not covered by it.
